Behind db Art Studio stands the vision of countering the fast pace of our times with something lasting. My name is Denise Böschatt, and I founded this studio as a place of deceleration and true craftsmanship.

A foundation of knowledge, precision and valuable encounters

My path to paper art is built on a solid, versatile foundation: After completing my evening studies in digital media technology in Vienna, I moved into the media industry, where I had the privilege to learn from the best for many years.

I was incredibly fortunate to work alongside exceptional people who deeply shaped me and passed me invaluable expertise. Even though life took us on different paths, and I painfully lost some of these treasured companions and colleagues, I carry their knowledge, inspiration and values within me forever. They are the invisible engine behind my work.

A conscious step towards deceleration

After these intense, instructive and demanding years in high-end business, I made a conscious decision: I wanted to transfer my technical and visual know-how into the analog world. At my crafting table I found exactly what so often gets lost in stressful daily digital life: the time, dedication and true soul.

My goal is to break away from the flood of mass-produced goods that are mostly just glued together, or unique pieces that are merely layered using patterned design papers. When you purchase a set from me, you receive an exclusive piece of art:
